Starting Friday, January 2, 2026, at 21:10 on TV3, viewers will once again be treated to new episodes of the beloved show “My Home with IKEA.” In the new season, the interior makeover show launches with a previously unseen format. Eight participants will have the opportunity to step into the role of interior designers themselves and create the design of their own homes from the very first steps to the final touches. IKEA interior designers will also provide inspiration and guidance. Practical advice, designer tips, and much more await viewers from the very first episode!

What to expect this season?

This season, we will explore a wide variety of situations — from a very first newly purchased home to a family apartment where three generations have been celebrating holidays together for years. Viewers will discover spaces where room must be found for relaxation, work, and a cozy kitchen; both spacious and compact standard-layout kitchens where every centimeter counts to ensure everyday comfort, as well as kitchens filled with a sense of history. There will be bedrooms that need to accommodate not only their owners but also beloved pets, living rooms where children and grandchildren come together, and transformations of boys’ a bedroom. Across all episodes, we will see genuine family emotions and real, hands-on involvement throughout the makeover process.

Crisis center

The season will open with a special, emotional episode that shows the renovation of spaces at the crisis center “Burtnieks,” where two family rooms and a psychologist’s office will be transformed. The goal of this project is to create a safe and calm environment for those seeking support during times of crisis.
