What a perfect day

Check out the program and plan your perfect Meatball Day!

We’ll kick things off on Saturday at 12:00 with a summery workshop where both kids and adults can create beautiful flowers from various materials. At 13:30, the folk dance ensemble “Uguntiņas” will light up the stage with fiery and joyful energy, followed by a breathtaking percussion performance at 14:30 by Nils Īle and his band.

Throughout the day, event host Kristaps Tālbergs will invite you to join a variety of games with fantastic prizes from IKEA, while DJ Cimmis and our very own IKEA DJs – the Meatball, the Heart, and even the host himself – will take turns at the DJ booth to keep the beats going. Meanwhile, STAR FM’s mobile studio will report on all the behind-the-scenes action.

On Saturday, the fun will continue until 20:00. Then, we’ll meet again on Sunday at 12:00 for more games, attractions, and delicious meatball dishes, accompanied by performances from the vocal ensemble “Spāre” and the folk music group “Kokle”. On Sunday, the dancefloor rhythms will be in the hands of DJ Cimmis and his sidekicks – the Cinnamon Bun, the Bear, and other IKEA DJs – all the way until 18:00.

Great musicians and festive mood

On Saturday the folk dance ensemble “Uguntiņas” will fill the festival with fiery and joyful energy. And for those who want to feel and hear both fire and the other forces of nature – water, earth, and air – through music and even try making music themselves, a percussion performance and workshop will be led by Nils Īle and his band.

On Sunday the vocal ensemble “Spāre” will perform, followed by the folk music group “Kokle”, delighting the audience with their diverse instrumental sounds.

For everyone who loves to dance their heart out, DJ Cimmis will be providing fantastic music all weekend long, joined by our friendly characters – the Meatball, the Heart, the Cinnamon Bun, the Bear, and other IKEA DJs – taking turns at the DJ booth.
