The darkest months of the year makes us all crave for light and cosiness. Thus, to make your holiday season a little brighter, we have created a giant Christmas star that will travel around Riga for several weeks.

This is why our big STRÅLA star will visit not only the Old Riga, but also such districts as Ziepniekkalns, Grīziņkalns, Āgenskalns and of course IKEA store.”

The look and sound of Christmas
The giant shining decoration was designed as a replica of our iconic star-shaped STRÅLA lamp shade, just a lot bigger. It’s almost 4 meter high!To spread even more magic, the star will not only shine, but also rhyme. By pressing the button people will hear a poem created especially for this year‘s holiday - a story of Christmas at home full of sounds, smells, family activities, and togetherness.
When and where?
The STRÅLA star is starting its journey at the IKEA store where it will greet visitors for almost one week. After that it will travel to other districts in Riga.11.11–16.11 IKEA store
