Festive workshops for kids
No one looks forward to the winter celebrations more than kids. That's why we are inviting you and your children to spend the festive time creating some beautiful Christmas decorations and yummy gingerbread treats. Who knows, maybe even a whole gingerbread village with little gingerbread villagers?Welcome to the workshops:
- Making Christmas tree decorations on 8 December.
- Gingerbread decorating and gingerbread house making on 15 December.
- Making greeting cards on 22 December.

The taste of Swedish holiday
What is it? We could certainly tell you, but you'd better try it for yourself. We are hosting festive tasting weekends with traditional Christmas delicacies for you to enjoy. VINTERSAGA hot mulled drink, gingerbreads and nuts.When? November 30, December 1, December 7–8, December 14–15 at 14:00-18:00 and December 20–23 at 12:00-18:00.

What to do to meet with Santa?
You can dress warmly and head north, wait patiently by the Christmas tree with milk and cookies or you can simply visit IKEA! On December Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays Santa and his elves will be visiting our stores and waiting for everyone who wants to take a picture together.Santa and the photographer for family photos will welcome you at the Swedish restaurant (if you have a few moments to spare, we will provide you with a printed photo):
- 5-6 and 8 December , 14:00-17:00;
- 12-13 and 15 December, 14:00-17:00;
- 19-22 December, 14:00-17:00.

Santa and STRÅLA are coming to town
Santa’s little house is the heart of every winter fair. Is there anything more magical than the moment children whisper their wishes to Santa? By a beautifully festive light this fabulous rendezvous becomes even more precious. Therefore IKEA takes care of the cozy setting of Santa’s house in Dome Square. In addition, the STRÅLA stars, which have already become a Christmas symbol, will shine bright at the festive stage until 2nd of January 2025. St. Lucia Day
Sweden celebrates the St. Lucia Day every year on 13 December – and here at IKEA, we’re no different. Visit the Swedish restaurant at 11:00 and join us in celebration. Together we’ll admire Santa Lucia’s candlelit procession, listen to traditional songs performed by girls' choir Riga, and have a special buffet with swedish traditional dishes and hot drinks for free.Where?
