My colleagues say that I should introduce myself saying “My name is Elīna, and I like pink”. Making interior design, I enjoy playing with large blocks of colours in wall decorations and furniture. I value ergonomic interior design, which is well-thought and practical. Moreover, in the room everything must be easily accessible and reachable. I like professional challenges, such as decorating small rooms while combining good design, functionality and wishes of a customer.

I like throwing challenges and going bold, therefore my designs are daring with unusual ideas and unexpected combinations of colours. I love designing rooms for children, because then I can let my creativity run wild. However, that is a responsible task, because it requires deep knowledge in child safety standards and children furniture range. A good interior design is substantial, meaningful and functional.

When it comes to interior design, I like the element of surprise – arriving at solutions that client never could have imagined. I love working with textiles and combine different textures and colours. I prefer working with living rooms, because that is the most vivacious room at home. I feel excited for a chance to make this room beautiful, homely and functional, especially, if at night this room turns into a bedroom. I don't have one favourite style, I like to mix it up, making it more exciting for me and for customers.

I prefer making interior for kitchens, because it is one of the most functionally complex rooms at home. Looking for seemingly simple solutions while making a convenient and homely environment truly excites me. I love creating a place that inspires cooking and spending a pleasant time with family. I am lucky for my work is my hobby and I get a great satisfaction in helping others to create a beautiful and functional space at home. Good interior is the one, which makes everyday life easier and makes people happy.

Barba

For me the most exciting task is arranging spacious and large spaces, because usually those are intended for multiple functions and those should be divided in functional zones. I enjoy mixing different materials and I love contrasts. While mostly I work with neutral colours such as beige, white, grey or pastel shades, I see the beauty in using bright colours for accents. To me, a good interior design is beautiful and expressing individuality, with a special, characteristic feature standing out, so that you kind of know the person the moment you step in his or her home.

I have always been interested in arts and design, therefore working in interior design seems totally natural to me. I enjoy the entire process of interior design – an introductory talk with a person, who will live in the particular room, as well as the excitement of solving practical challenges at their home, making their life at least a little bit better and their everyday life more beautiful. I always listen to wishes of customers, because they are the ones that will have to live in the rearranged room. In an interior design, I primarily notice the general picture, large things, furniture and blocks of colours. Before changing an interior in one room, I have a look at all the other rooms for they should be in harmony.
