Product details

Key features

The porous terracotta holds excess water, so the plant can draw out moisture when needed.

It's possible to plant directly in the pot because it has a drain hole in the bottom and a saucer to collect excess water.

The saucer is waterproof thanks to its glazed interior.

The plant pot is frost-resistant and can be kept outdoors at temperatures below zero if emptied of soil or covered.

The drain hole in the bottom of the plant pot lets excess water drain off.

Good to know

For outdoor use.

As you water the plant, it is common and normal for lime residues and markings to appear over time if you plant directly in the pot.

To protect the surface from any risk of moisture damage, always use a plant mover or put felt pads under the plant pot or saucer.

True quality and character at a low price

INGEFÄRA terracotta plants pots are a modern version of traditional terracotta pot and saucer sets. Terracotta has been used throughout history for sculpture and buildings, as well as for pottery. It is ideal for plant pots because it’s porous and holds excess water, so the plant can draw out moisture when needed. The distinct, warm ‘terracotta’ colour comes from the iron content in the clay. The surface changes as it comes into contact with the elements, adding more charm and character over time.
