Coworking space in the shopping centre “Spice”

Where? Shopping centre "Spice", 2nd floor food area (Lielirbes iela 29, Riga). 

When? Every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Visit the new co-working space that we have set up for you - IKEA fans, private and business customers, and everyone looking for a comfortable place to work remotely, meet with partners or have a job interview in an informal environment.

More than 248 square meters of space will allow you to use ergonomic work spots, relax, meet new people, share your ideas, and collaborate on new ones.

There is no need to book a spot in advance. Just come at a time convenient for you and take any of the available places.

For both productivity and leisure

Co-working space can accommodate up to 50 people simultaneously. There are 28 work places by desks and more than 20 comfy seats in upholstered furniture. You can chose whether you prefer a regular desk, a desk with adjustable height or a desk the worktop of which can be adjusted in various angles. Our designers have taken care of multiple functional workspace solutions. Visitors can enjoy free Wi-Fi access and every work space is equipped with access to power outlet and ports.

Recreation areas take up a significant space as well. During breaks visitors can try comfy seats, have screen-free time, enjoy coffee and meet like-minded people.

Feeling at home

The co-working space is designed with the latest office interior trends in mind. Cold and formal offices no longer satisfy co-workers, as they want to feel relaxed and light-hearted in their workplace – just like they do at home. To create a homely atmosphere in our co-working space, we filled it with artificial plants, comfy furniture and warm-light lamps.

The project’s hashtag #IKEAworkation reflects the feeling of the space. Visitors will have an opportunity to work by desks, as well as to try out something new - working from upholstered seating. We believe it will get visitors in recreation mood. The interior is calm and reminds of being in nature.

Functionality and creativity

The interior was inspired by the place itself – shopping centre. In places like these people tend to work at cafes which is not the best choice when it comes to concentration and need to make some business calls. Our goal was to create not only functional but also inspiring environment, keeping in mind the need for cosiness and creativity.
